These Terms of Service explain the terms on which Kings Diamonds Limited (“Kings Diamonds”, “we”, “us” or “our”) provides this website and sells products to you. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. About us and contacting us

Kings Diamonds Limited is a UK online retailer of engagement rings. You can contact us at admin@kingsdiamonds.co.uk or through the Contact page on this website.

2. Using our website

You may use this website for lawful, personal purposes. You must not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, or use its content in a way that infringes our rights or the rights of others.

We may update, suspend or withdraw parts of the website where reasonably necessary. We do not guarantee that the website will always be available without interruption.

3. Product information

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, images and prices are accurate. Colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on your screen. Natural and laboratory-grown diamonds may also have individual characteristics within the specifications stated for the product.

Product availability is subject to change. If we cannot supply an item after you order, we will contact you and provide an appropriate refund.

4. Orders and our contract with you

Placing an order is an offer to purchase the selected product. After you place an order, we will send an acknowledgement. A binding contract is formed when we confirm that we have accepted your order.

Please check your order details carefully before submitting it, including the ring size, metal colour, delivery address and contact details. If you need to request a change or cancellation, contact us as soon as possible. We will help where we reasonably can, although changes may not be possible once preparation or production has begun. Your statutory cancellation and return rights are not affected.

We may decline or cancel an order where a product is unavailable, there is an obvious pricing or description error, payment cannot be authorised, or we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse. If payment has already been taken for an order we cannot fulfil, we will refund it.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are displayed in pounds sterling. The price payable is the price shown at checkout when you place your order. Any delivery charge or other applicable cost will be shown before you complete payment.

Payment is taken through the payment methods offered at checkout. You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method supplied.

6. Delivery

We currently deliver within the United Kingdom. Engagement rings are made to order and delivery is typically expected within 2–3 weeks. Delivery dates are estimates rather than guarantees, but we will keep you informed if a significant delay occurs.

7. Returns, refunds and warranty

Returns and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy and the information on our Returns & Warranty page. These policies form part of these terms.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights in relation to goods that are faulty, not as described or otherwise fail to meet legal requirements.

8. Privacy

We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Shopify and our payment and delivery providers may process information where necessary to operate the store, take payment and fulfil your order.

9. Intellectual property

The content and design of this website, including our branding, text, graphics and original imagery, belong to Kings Diamonds Limited or are used under licence. You may view the website and make reasonable personal use of it, but you may not reproduce or commercially exploit its content without permission.

10. Third-party services and links

Our website is hosted by Shopify and may use services supplied by payment providers, delivery companies and other third parties. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for third-party websites or their content.

11. Liability

We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or breach of your statutory consumer rights.

Subject to the above, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed, or for business losses arising from a purchase made for personal use.

12. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control. If such an event materially affects your order, we will contact you and take reasonable steps to minimise the impact.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms applying to your purchase will be those in force when you place the order, unless a change is required by law or a regulatory authority.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you retain any mandatory rights and may bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable law.
